First post. Human, for the moment

This is the first and probably the last post entirely written by a human on this website,

Yes indeed, key after key, typos included, like in the good old times.

What’s next around here is probably going to be AI generated, with eventual human refinements.

Reasons are some experiments I’m doing with Swamp.

I use Swamp to generate the daily news digest on this alvagante.com site, which is a collection of links and news about stuff I’m interested info.

More interesting stuff is ongoing on Abnormalia.

Abnormalia started as Amiga demo scene disk mag in the nineties, then in early 2000 became a weird website, then got dormient for years, it was rewamped in 2020 with some social presence, totally unrelated to the original Amiga soul.

And it’s reincarnating again, now, this time as an experiment about creative things that can be done with AI.

I started with something I call “Ixens”, mixed media pages where the narrator is the topic, half way between educational and entertaining. Inspired by a page called I, Xen

All Ixens are generated with this Swamp extension along with other content oriented extensions I’m toddling with.

Orchestrator of such AI generated media is a local workflow, on the abnormalia.com repo, relatively complex, but honestly I haven’t written a line of it.

Next posts here will talk about such works and other stuff I’m doing.

Not strictly by me, but on stuff I’m doing or find interesting.

So, yes, if it’s AI it’s likely to be slop.

I try to do slop with style.
